Mental Health Service Navigator Program - Intake Officer

Do you want to make a difference in improving access to mental health services by supporting the e-referral system and Mental Health Service Navigators?

The Primary Mental Health Stepped Care program will provide access to effective, mental health services, at no cost, for people who may not otherwise be able to access these services and matches the intervention level that most suits their needs.

This is a part time position based in Toowoomba.

Using your system administration skills, you will support the intake of consumers for referrals and assist the team of Mental Health Service Navigators in monitoring the system and generating reports.

PIR Support Facilitator - Goondiwindi

The Partners In Recovery (PIR) Program is funded by the Australian Government to improve outcomes for people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. The Support Facilitator engages with assigned participants to support and facilitate their transition to the NDIS, including assistance with the NDIA application, assessment and planning processes where requested by the client. The Support Facilitator also transitions PIR participants who are not eligible for the NDIS to appropriate alternative supports before the end of the NDIS transition phase.

Based in the Goondiwindi Office, travel throughout the region is required. The PIR Support Facilitator reports to the RHealth Programs Manager and is accountable for administration and reporting. The role is part Time (0.8 FTE) from mid January to March 2019.

This may be a ideal opportunity for a candidate undertaking a period of leave from their usual role.

To make an impact you will have experience and qualifications in human services, social work or similar, particularly in mental health programs.  A driver’s license, confidence in driving long distances, and program administration skills are required for the position.
