Travis Maguire is RHealth’s Programs Manager, overseeing headspace Warwick and Partners in Recovery.

Travis Maguire has worked for RHealth since June 2013. Travis's role is Programs Manager for headspace Warwick and Partners in Recovery (PIR). Travis works with the headspace and PIR teams to provide support for people across the Southern Downs region. Travis was a previous care coordinator with headspace Warwick and has a strong background in advocating for young people, intake and assessment, working with the community to provide better outcomes for young people. Travis has a history of working with young people in the community since 2009 and has established working relationships with a range of providers within the Southern Downs Region as well as working with National organisations such as the Australian Skateboarding Community Initiative.

  • Working with community stakeholders to ensure appropriate care and support are provided to young  people and their families
  • Promoting mental health services across the region to make certain  local providers have the most update information about RHealth services in order to assist their clients and staff.
  • Liaise with funding bodies to secure the future of programs within the RHealth organisation and search for new and creative programs to benefit clients and the community.
  • Advocating for young people and their families to service providers and coordinating specific care arrangements.

Lenore Neville

Lenore Neville is RHealth’s headspace Youth Counsellor.

Lenore Neville has worked for RHealth since November 2008. Lenore’s role is to provide evidence-based therapeutic counselling services within scope of practice to young people. Lenore has many years of experience within school and university counselling settings, local government, psychiatric and general hospital social work. She has also worked in private practice.

Gaye Hutchinson

Gaye Hutchinson is RHealth’s headspace Warwick Administration and Communications Officer.

Personal profile

Gaye Hutchinson has worked for RHealth since June 2012. Gaye’s role is to provide reception and administrative support to headspace Warwick. Gaye also assists in the development and delivery of communication and community engagement strategies.

Prior to employment with RHealth, Gaye was employed in the capacity of Administration Officer with the Department of Justice and Queensland Police Service. Gaye in her role as Domestic Violence Clerk received commendation for her work in the area of domestic violence where she assisted aggrieved people in obtaining court protection from violence and liaised with agencies to secure emergency accommodation placement.

CASE CARE COORDINATOR
Chris Burt

Chris Burt is RHealth’s headspace Warwick Care Coordinator.

Chris Burt has worked for RHealth since January 2017. Chris’s role is to provide intake assessment for headspace Warwick’s clients and coordinate their care within the service, with the most appropriate health professionals. Chris works with local GPs and service providers to support and assist clients.

Chris's background includes education and working with young people in a variety of workplace settings.

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT PROJECT OFFICER
Simon Young

Simon Young is RHealth’s headspace Warwick Youth Engagement Project Officer.

Personal profile

Simon Young has worked for RHealth since March 2012.

His role is to engage young people and stakeholders to be involved with the headspace Southern Downs services and network, specifically through positive physical and social activity opportunities and motivational interviewing.

Through finding an interest in a more diverse range of activities including Yoga, Simon has developed an approach of sharing his love of movement and fitness with other people. He initially studied Certificates III & IV in Fitness to become a personal trainer, working with the psychologists at the Centre for Healthy Living in Warwick to develop programs for clients with depression and anxiety. Having recently completed a  Diploma in Youth Work, Simon continues to build positive relationships with young people and help guide them through the many challenging influences they face in the world today.

  • Developing a program designed to engage young people through positive physical and social opportunities and motivational interviewing
  • Developing and implementing communication and health promotion strategies for engaging relevant individuals, stakeholders, and communities.
  • Promoting awareness of positive, help-seeking behaviours, and information supporting headspace Warwick

PIR SUPPORT FACILITATOR
Julia Keogh

Julia Keogh is RHealth’s PIR Support Facilitator in Warwick.

Personal profile

Julia has senior leadership experience in a diverse range of services within the community services sector, in addition to a number of volunteer roles most recently as team member Women of Warwick (WoW), co-founder of both the Community Network of Warwick (CNoW) and Business Network of Warwick (BNoW). Julia is currently serving as the President of the Warwick Chamber of Commerce Inc.

Key Experience

Julia’s professional experience includes senior positions in the community services sector, leading teams through strength based strategies and strategic operational plans to achieve improved outcomes for vulnerable people throughout Queensland. In 2015, Julia was awarded the inaugural Women in Business Awards Downs Region ‘Community Dedication Award’.

Programs/project involvement

As Support Facilitator, Southern Downs Partners in Recovery (P.I.R.), Julia has engaged with participants living with severe and persistent mental illness and complex needs since commencement of the program in September 2013.

P.I.R. is a federally funded initiative based on the community recovery model which seeks to improve support for participants through:

  • Improved coordination of services which are tailored to meet individual needs
  • Strengthening partnerships and building better links between clinical and community support organisations
  • Improving referral pathways
