RHealth is a member based general practice support organisation delivering innovative and dynamic health Program & Services in rural and remote communities across Southern and South West Queensland. Covering an area of 420 325 square kilometres (almost twice the size of Victoria), RHealth provides support to over 130 GPs that deliver primary health care to approximately 190 000 people living in these communities.
RHealth is one of 110 Divisions of General Practice nationally, with the Network representing around 95 percent of all GPs across Australia. RHealth is a member of the State Based Organisation, General Practice Queensland, and the National representative body, Australian General Practice Network. The Divisions of General Practice Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
At the 2007 Australian General Practice Network Forum RHealth was named AGPN 2007 Division of the Year.
