Ann-Marie Thomas is the Goondiwindi-based Care Coordinator, engaged under the Care Coordination and Supplementary Services Program.

Ann-Marie has worked in health for the past 15 years, predominately Aboriginal Health and the community controlled sector. Her roles have ranged from Aboriginal Health Worker, Project Officer, Research Assistant, Practice Manager, Clinical Manager, Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Educator Ann-Marie’s qualifications are Bachelor of Nursing and management.

Ann-Marie has extensive experience working in rural and remote Western New South Wales and Queensland with chronic disease and designing new programs that meet community needs.

Ann-Marie’s passion is to Close the Gap in the life expectancy gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.
