Jennie joined RHealth in August 2004 as Program Support Officer and is part of the RHealth Mental Health Team. A part of Jennie’s responsibilities is implementation of the Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care Access to Psychological Services (BOIMHC/ATAPS) Program and the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program, as well as the Aged Care Access Initiative.

 

Jennie has a strong administrative and public relations background previously working as a Personal Assistant for many years with a rural accounting firm. Jennie holds an advanced Diploma in Rural Business Administration and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Indigenous Studies (external) through Gnibi College of Indigenous Australian Peoples, Southern Cross University. From a rural background (grew up on a property near Longreach) Jennie has an understanding of the needs and isolation of rural communities.
