Halley Ginns - Program Officer (Healthy Lifestyles Northern Downs)

Halley Ginns joined the RHealth Chinchilla office in March 2012. Her role as Program Officer Healthy Lifestyles is to support, develop and implement health education and promotion activities across the Western Downs (aka Northern Downs). This includes, but is not limited to, the towns of Chinchilla, Condamine, Dalby, Jandowae, Meandarra, Miles, Moonie, Tara, Taroom and Wandoan. Halley aims to influence local community members to seek and maintain healthy lifestyles, and to assist in preventing chronic disease.
 
Halley was born on the Sunshine Coast and has spent the past ten years both working and studying on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane. In 2011, Halley graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, qualifying her as an Accredited Practising Dietitian and an Accredited Nutritionist. Halley is passionate about improving health within the community and enjoys supporting and empowering others to reach their health and lifestyle goals.
