Aimee Thompson joined RHealth in September 2010. Her current role as Program Officer Healthy Lifestyles is to support, develop and implement health education and promotion activities that influence local community members to seek and maintain healthy lifestyles and assist in preventing chronic disease across the Murweh, Paroo, Bulloo and Quilpie Shires in Far South West Queensland.

 

Aimee was born in Charleville and has spent the past ten years both working and studying in Brisbane. In 2009 Aimee graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition).

 

Aimee is currently completing a Master in Public Health and this will further assist her to improve individual and community health standards in Far South West Queensland. She enjoys working within the community and is passionate about educating people about the benefits of having a healthy and active lifestyle.
